New health minister Liow Tiong Lai says he will look into ways of improving the health care services for the public. He said this after receiving his duties from former acting Health Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting today. Meantime, as reported by The Star todat, a ex-clinic helper was charged for causing miscarriage and death.

Wong Ah Kean, aged 61, a former clinic helper was charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for causing the miscarriage of the five-months pregnant Indonesian woman, which resulted in her death. Wong pleaded not guilty to having caused the miscarriage to Fitriani, aged 27, and caused her death in a clinic Jalan Hang Kasturi at 9pm on July 15, last year.
